Know the Signs Training for all GECHS students and staff

For Suicide Prevention Month, trainers from Nevada County Public Health and the Mental Health Matters Nevada County Coalition will provide a Know the Signs suicide prevention training with interactive activities to highlight warning signs of suicide, how to talk with someone they’re concerned about, and key local mental health and suicide prevention resources. Upon completing the training, students will be able to identify the warning signs of suicide, caring adults to connect with if they are concerned for themselves or others, and multiple local suicide prevention and mental health resources.

These presentations will occur annually within Phoenix classes in September.
